NEA Statement Of Intent.
My magazine will be informative and educational aimed at young children ages 10-13. It will contain information on how to play the game and basic knowledge of what it provides them. This includes various archetypes of different decks that can be used to play the game and how various techniques are formed and used. It aims to affect the people by making them more passionate about the game and therefore enticing them to play it as well. It represents the strategic value that card games like this poses and how much it can benefit a child’s learning. The main characters of the magazine will be an image of the main characters of the show as they would advertise the game best as they are commonly known. I will be using a mid-shot showing people playing and the basic format of how to play. Then I will have close up shots on the actual cards themselves to show what they look like in order for them to be recognised.
